Check whether this workaround fits
This procedure targets the developer’s listed Demo-config carry-over symptoms on Windows. It is not presented as a cure for any low frame rate, flicker, crash or launch error. As a precaution, preserve your files before a configuration reset; do not delete saves.
Reset only the named folder
Close Way of the Hunter 2
Exit the game before changing its configuration files.
Open the Windows path
Press Windows + R and enter %LocalAppData%\WOTH2\Saved.
Remove only Config
Delete the folder named Config, as directed by the official FAQ. Leave your save files and the rest of Saved intact.
Launch and check the original symptom
The FAQ says a new configuration will be generated on launch. Check the resolution, scaling or particle problem that led you here.
If the problem remains
A newly generated configuration and disappearance of the original symptom are the intended result; they have not been independently reproduced for this article. If the symptom persists, stop broadening file deletion and report it through the developer’s linked bug database.
