The official FAQ assigns species to New Laurentia or Kilimaya Reserve. That is the verified location level available from the sources used here; it does not establish a precise herd, den, or need-zone coordinate. Use the animal-list page to check the reserve grouping.
Third-party map limits
Shacknews introduced a Shackmaps map for Way of the Hunter 2, and Shackmaps provides a New Laurentia interactive map. It is not a developer map. Confirm a marker in your own 1.0 game before planning a route, and do not assume the same marker set covers Kilimaya or every patch.
