What you can safely conclude
The official FAQ describes procedural trophy generation, and the 1.0 roadmap says non-typical trophy variations were not ready at launch. Neither official source gives a numeric fitness cut-off or a repeatable method for producing a 5-star animal.
How to read community guides
The supplied SERP includes older Way of the Hunter material and community videos that discuss fitness, age, or culling. Those are not enough to establish current 1.0 rules. Treat them as hypotheses to test in your own build; this page will add thresholds only when an applicable, reproducible 1.0 source is available.
